Variety of aluminotypes, ambrotypes, ferrotypes made throughout the beautiful Hudson Valley in New York State. Ongoing series of “slice-of-life” images all made on the go with my portable dark box whenever the feeling hits. Interesting to note the coffee and cream tones and deeper, richer blacks of the authentic black-japanned ferrotypes on the top row vs. the silver and grey when using the aluminum trophy tintypes. No filters or digital manipulations have been used.
